Important! 2026 licences

Dear all,
following the formal changes announced at the last WAWE General Assembly, we have received detailed guidelines for the 2026 season, which we ask you to read; they are ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT FOR RIDERS PLANNING TO COMPETE ABROAD IN THE 2026 SEASON!

By 15 February 2026, every national federation must submit a list of riders eligible to compete in international competitions (WAWE QUALIFIER, WAWE INTERNATIONAL) at all levels: MASTERS, JUNIOR, YOUNG RIDERS. In addition, under the WAWE guidelines, each federation must set the performance criteria for qualifying to compete in international competitions and for being entered on the list of eligible combinations (WAWE suggests 62%, as for championship qualification). To support Polish riders in gaining experience in international arenas, WEP sets this criterion at 60% in dressage and ease of handling.

Accordingly, all riders planning to compete abroad in the 2026 season are asked to send by 10 February 2026 to info@workingequitation.pl the following information:
“Rider’s full name, horse’s name, age category, the highest score achieved at international competitions in the 2025 season — or at national competitions for riders who wish to start competing internationally.”

Based on the reports submitted, WAWE will prepare a database of riders eligible to compete in international competitions.

In addition, international licences for riders and licence fees for national federations have been introduced.
The seasonal licence fee for a federation is EUR 500.
The seasonal international licence fee for a combination (horse and rider) is EUR 25 and is payable to the national federation’s account, details below:
Stowarzyszenie Working Equitation Polska
ul. Zwycięska 2
53-033 Wrocław, Poland
EUR account: IBAN PL90 1090 1522 0000 0001 4429 0013 SWIFT: WBKPPLPP

Each national federation then sends the list of registered riders and transfers the total licence amount to WAWE. During the year it is possible to add riders to the list and pay for their licences, but no later than 10 days before the competition in which the combination intends to start.

We also remind you of the new LICENSING REGULATIONS for national licences, under which licence fees have changed as follows:
Annual fee paid by 31.03:
WEP rider licence – PLN 200
WEP horse licence – PLN 100
Annual fee paid after 31.03:
WEP rider licence – PLN 350
WEP horse licence – PLN 250
Details on the website in the RIDERS section.
