WROCLOVE 2026 – summary

The WROCLOVE 2026 International Competition traditionally brought together a large number of riders from Poland and abroad. What set this year’s edition apart was the growing group of riders in the top Masters class, from more and more countries and holding the highest places in the world ranking!
As usual, the competition in Wrocław began on Thursday with a class for those starting their Working Equitation adventure in class L. Here are the podium finishers in the two classifications:
CLASS L JUNIOR
1st place – Alicja Bąk and NATALKA
2nd place – Alicja Grabowska and TRENER
3rd place – Aurelia Dąbrowska and FERDYNAND
CLASS L SENIOR
1st place – Daria Stryzhakova and KARDAN
2nd place – Agnieszka Bienert and KORA
3rd place – Katarzyna Knakiewicz and FLUFFY GUN
From Friday, riders competing in classes P to Masters took to the arena. This competition was special because it was the last chance for Polish riders to qualify for this year’s World Championship in Spain. Ewelina Zoń and Tomasz Kaniewski, who had already qualified, were joined by Maria Dzięcioł and Anna Skrzypek — warm congratulations! It is a historic moment: at the most important sporting event, Poland will be represented by a complete 4-rider team. Huge thanks for all the work put into training and preparation and for the excellent results achieved shoulder to shoulder with Europe’s best!
The top three in the most important class of the Wrocław competition, MASTERS, were the best of the best in a very strong field: the overall winner was Marco Boavista (POR) on MESTRE DO PENEDO — an exceptionally friendly and open rider for whom “the best of the best” is no empty phrase, as he is currently 2nd in the WAWE World Ranking, just half a point behind the leader from Sweden! Second place went to Margo Timmermans (NED) on CATCH ME — a wonderful pair who always rule the dressage test thanks to her background at Grand Prix dressage level. Third place went to Sophie Timmer (NED) on MILHO REI DE ODIANA, well known and loved by the Wrocław crowd; she rode beautifully in the technical tests and in the speed test was beaten only by M. Boavista. You will be able to cheer her on at this year’s World Championship in Jerez de la Frontera, as she has joined the Dutch team for the event.
