Meet Team Poland!

We are delighted to introduce the riders of the Polish team who in less than a month will arrive in Jerez de la Frontera to represent Poland at the most important event of the season — the Working Equitation Senior World Championship!

EWELINA ZOŃ – the most experienced championship rider, representing EZ Ranch, who together with LITTLE KING PINE represented Poland at the World Championship in France (2022) and the European Championship in the Czech Republic (2024). With numerous top placings at national and international competitions, she is the current Polish Working Equitation Champion. Ewelina is preparing under the eye of the experienced David Oliveira — a Working Equitation rider from Portugal and World Champion (2006).

TOMASZ KANIEWSKI – a rider representing Wertero Stable who began competing in the Masters class on AJ WIEDŹMIN in 2024 and has since appeared regularly on the start lists of national and international competitions. In 2025 he deservedly took first place in the National Ranking. Tomasz is preparing under the eye of one of the most successful dressage riders, Anna Bienias, multiple Polish Champion (uninterrupted 1994–1999) and dressage World Cup finalist (1997).

ANNA SKRZYPEK – a rider representing the Wrocław Partynice Racecourse, previously successful on her Silesian mare Fantazja; since this year she has competed with considerable success in the Masters class on the horse with which she qualified for the World Championship – NOTAVEL DO PENEDO. Anna is preparing under the eye of the experienced Portuguese rider Marco Boavista, who boasts numerous wins and top placings at international competitions and is currently second in the WAWE World Ranking.

MARIA DZIĘCIOŁ – a rider from Wertero Stable with a long connection to Working Equitation, who started competing as early as 2021. Together with her horse WHITE GOLD she began competing in the top Masters class in 2025. Like Tomasz, Maria trains hard under the eye of dressage expert Anna Bienias.

In addition to the riders above, who are the main actors of this event, the WEP staff also includes:
Małgorzata Skubisz – Chef d’Équipe of Team Poland
Justyna Gruszka Jeleń – WEP Board
Sylwia Filewicz – WEP Board

Working Equitation Polska has not appointed a squad coach, as each rider prepares and follows a training plan within their own individual team. The World Championship is getting closer, and the horses’ long journey to sunny Andalusia will begin well in advance. We invite you to follow the reports from the event and WEP’s social media — and above all to keep your fingers crossed for a safe journey and the best possible performance of our Team!
